US Congressman Ron Paul Gives Hope To Online Bingo

Presidential hopeful, Congressman Ron Paul, is the new champion for online bingo in the US.

Ron Paul is a supporter of Congressman Barney Frank's attempt at changing current legislation in the US. The new legislation has caused the virtual death of online gambling following the inauguration of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA).

Ron Paul has attacked the UIGEA, believeing it is an "outrageous affront to individual freedom." Paul is reported saying:

"... people should be free to engage in the activities they wish as long as they are willing to take responsibility for their actions."

The UIGEA is responsible for closing down countless US online gambling sites because it prohibits foreign gambling operators from undertaking financial transactions while offering gaming options to the US.

There is now more hope than ever of the rebirth of US online gaming with Congressmen Barney Frank and Ron Paul on the case.
