Bingo winner wins compensation

Karen Bryson won £103,247 in a national bingo jackpot and decided to split the winnings with her partner at the time Alex Bunce. Bryson claimed the couple had decided to split the winnings between them in return Bunce would give her a share in his home.

Bryson claimed that they met with a solicitor who was asked to change the deeds of the house, however there were always reasons why the papers hadn't gone through.

Once the money from the bingo win had been spent on paying off credit cards, exotic holidays and a sportscar. Bunce moved out of the house and left Bryson to pay the rent.

Bryson took him to court and received £27,880 in compensation.
