WhichBingo puts on 2007 'Online Bingo Oscars'

5th December, 2007

It’s Oscar time again! Well no, not that Oscar time. It’s the Online Bingo Oscars! The search is underway at WhichBingo.com as the ‘Online Bingo Oscars’ votes are cast for the fifth consecutive year. At the same time, the second annual ‘UK Online Bingo Site of the Year’ award has been launched at WhichBingo.co.uk, along with the first rookie site award ‘UK New Online Bingo Site of the Year’.

The prestigious Which Bingo Awards will celebrate and reward excellence in online bingo by letting the players decide. The purpose of the awards are to reflect the quality and experience that users have when playing at their favourite site. All ‘pay-to-play’ sites are eligible for the site of the year award, regardless of their software provider. For the UK Site of the Year, all of the ‘pay-to-play’ sites are eligible which offer bingo in GBP sterling and any UK site which launched in 2007 is eligible for the new site award.

Polls will be open for voting until 31st December 2007, and the sites earning the most votes in each category will be awarded with the respective titles. Last year’s winners included iBingo at WhichBingo.com, and Mecca Bingo at Bingo.co.uk. Phil Fraser, owner of WhichBingo comments:

“We want to praise and celebrate those sites that consistently deliver enjoyment and satisfaction to their players. There are some really great bingo sites out there doing a fantastic job. Once a year, bingo players have a forum to register their appreciation of the fun and enjoyment these sites supply. We are very excited about these awards, particularly the UK one.”

The winners of the 2007 sites of the year will be announced in January of 2008. Not sure who you’re going to vote for yet? Read some of our online bingo reviews and play some online bingo to help you decide!
