US welcomes in-flight online bingo

Despite the fact, that America was the first country that introduced all various laws and legislations to ban online gambling, now officials feel it’s a good idea to give their citizens a chance to play bingo online during internal US flights.
The Jet Blue, US domestic airline, will be the first US airline to accommodate eager gamblers. TVG sports betting will be also available with channels such as ESPN, NFL networks, Fox and CBS.
Not so long ago some European airlines, including British Airways, announced plans to provide passengers with online in-flight gambling facilities.
It is yet unclear how they will resolve the issue of different legislations in different EU countries to do with online gambling.
US decided to apply the UIGEA that was just recently introduced and make it impossible for European companies to get involved in the market, as the legislation prohibits any foreign online gaming operators to provide service for US customers.
So it seems that America doesn’t really care about the problems associated with online gambling, instead it is more concerned with leaving the profits made from the business to themselves.
