Online bingo players could be rubbing shoulders with the elite of the footballing community as for June 2010. This is because online bingo site Tombola Bingo is to become Premiership Club Sunderland AFC’s official sponsor!
The online bingo site has signed an initial two year deal with the club who are affectionately known as the black cats. Sunderland AFC’s chairman, Niall Quinn commented: "We are thrilled to be joining forces with Tombola at what is a really exciting time in our football club's journey. The company's (tombola) headquarters are in Sunderland so they know exactly what the club and the city are all about and we are excited by the possibilities this partnership offers to us both."
Tombola’s logo will appear on both the club’s home and away shirts in the 2010/11 season and will also be placed in prominent positions around their home ground, the Stadium of Light.
The Huge exposure that this will give Tombola will bring the brand to a whole new audience which should further increase its already large share of the online bingo market.

The deal is a huge step in the ongoing development of Tombola Bingo. The online bingo site also sponsors popular ITV1 soap Emmerdale.
