Three Bingo Players Land £160,000
21st November, 2007
The town of Leigh certainly seems like the hot place to be in recent weeks. Just this past Sunday, deputy manager Jenny Brocklehurst announced a £90,150 win for one lucky player at BJ’s Bingo Club. Exactly one week earlier, another player in Leigh won £20,070 on the National Bingo Game. Going back just a bit further, on Tuesday 31st October, yet another winner won the £50,000 jackpot.
A bingo spokesman from Leigh comments, “All our winners have shouted house on the National Bingo Game, and to win the National Jackpot you have to be the lowest call in any of the 470 clubs playing nationwide to win the £100,000 top prize...”
All of the players winnings together accumulate to £160,000 won in the town of Leigh in just three weeks. The most recent winner was just one number away from earning an additional £120,000-the silver jackpot. There have already been six silver jackpot winners since the game began in September. The £1 million Platinum prize is yet to be claimed.
