'Skint' Student's numbers come up

A 'skint' student nurse from Grimsby has claimed a huge £22,500 bingo win, at just the right time. She was so poor that the mysetery woman had to get her boyfriend to pay for the bingo ticket at Gala Bingo.
She said: "My boyfriend paid for my ticket because I was skint, so we're going to put the money into a joint account. It will also pay for some Christmas presents. I couldn't believe it when I was told how much I had won, and I'm still finding it hard to believe now. It's great though. I went and told all my family and friends personally, starting with my nanna, who's a bingo fan herself."
Liz Forster, bingo caller at the Gala Bingo club said: "It was just a normal night really and then she called house in 44 numbers. It was very exciting, I thought she had quite a good chance of winning but then we had to wait about 35 minutes for the jackpot results, which was quite a tense time. I even get excited when there's a possibility of someone winning, let alone having to wait for the results. Then, when the printout came through, we found out she had won £22,500! She was delighted and really shocked and the rest of the club was getting excited as well, getting on the tables and shouting. It's nice when it's someone younger who wins the money as they have so many things to spend it on."
