Robbed on way to Empire Bingo

The elderly woman, who is 77 years old was with a friend at a time when the attack happened. He ripped her handbag from her shoulder leaving her short of cash and shaken.
The attack happened almost a week ago, but details have only just been made public by the police. DC Mark Cruise who is investigatins said of the crime "This was a cowardly attack on an innocent and elderly lady. She has been left extremely shaken by the ordeal and I urge anyone who can assist with our inquiries to contact us."
