Rank Group Shares Tumble

Rank Group shares hit an all time low, after the turnover of Mecca bingo clubs has dropped dramatically, since the introduction of the smoking ban and other restrictions have been placed on gaming machines. Mecca Bingo reported a 19% fall in turnover levels since these changes have come about and they are currently having crisis meetings with Shareholders to discuss what can be done to alleviate these issues. There were rumours in the City that this share price collapse might spark interest from rival Gaming companies that might be interested in a take over.
