Posh Bingo stops off in Morecambre
26th November, 2008
The Ladies from Morecambre and Lancaster will need to get out their diamond encrusted bingo pens and practice shouting “mansion” instead of “House” for a themed evening of ‘Posh Bingo’.
The event being organised by Action for Children is called 'Clickety Click' and will be held at Morecambre Golf Club on this Friday.
Catherine Butterworth from Action for Children said, “ What could be better than an evening sitting in a lovely venue, being served first class food and drink, with the chance to play a game of bingo, knowing that at the same time you’re raising valuable funds to assist vulnerable young people and their families?” She also said, “We have held these events in other areas in the north West but this will be the first for Morecambre, which we are very excited about.”
All proceeds from the evening are set to go to the children’s charity. The night of glitz and glamour will start with a drinks reception followed by a special three course meal and a game of bingo.
The event will raise awareness of and funds for Action for Children’s vital work with 4,600 children and families in the North West Region, and is scheduled to start at 7.30 pm.
