Online Bingo Awards 2008
6th June, 2008
Bullet Business announced the debut of the Online Bingo Awards 2008 to be held alongside the annual Online Bingo Summit in London, which is scheduled to be held on 17th-18th June 2008.
This ceremony will award those who have helped make the online bingo industry what it is today.
A panel of seven experts in the industry were given the great responsibility of selecting the categories for the awards as well as the nominees.
“The panellists make up a representation of the online bingo industry right now – a snapshot of the current market, with representatives from operations, technology, supplier, affiliate, analyst and association,” said Ravi Virpal, Bullet Business Awards director and organiser. “The aim has always been to give the online bingo industry the recognition it deserves as a stand-alone business whilst also recognising the companies that have pushed to make this happen.”
There will be seven categories for award, which include: Best Newcomer, Best Online Bingo Portal, Best Marketing Campaign, Best Affiliate Program, Online Bingo Software and the Online Bingo Operator 2008.
“The categories cover the depth and breadth of the online bingo business as it stands today in 2008,” said Phil Fraser, of Which Bingo.
The award everyone wants to take home is Online Bingo Operator 2008, but only five nominees are vying for the title, which include: Gala Bingo, Ladbrokes Bingo, Foxy Bingo, Jackpot Joy and Sun Bingo.
“The Bingo Awards are in recognition of the phenomenal growth of the online bingo industry and an acknowledgement of the key players that aspire to be the best of the best and stand out from the rest, said Steve cook, Parlay Entertainment MD. “All the nominations show a strong category of excellence and those that excel in providing a quality customer experience. There is tough competition in the market between online brands that is also driving the bingo industry to new heights.”
