Two bingo loving females have received their pay-off for a dedication to the game, when they were announced winners at their local Mecca Bingo club and received £50,000 each.
A 57-year-old from the Gosforth won the 50 grand after she called the full house on 42 numbers, which made her £190 richer in an instant. Only after some time she was told that she is also a National Bingo winner and the total prize will add up to £50,190. She has been a Mecca Bingo member for 13 years, where she usually enjoys the bingo game with her 73 year-old mother.
“I haven’t recovered yet”, said the lady on the day of her big win. “I couldn’t stop shaking and I felt sick. I thought it was all a dream and I still can’t believe it.”
It came completely unexpected when in the evening of the same day, when the National Bingo prize rose to incredible £100,000, another two ladies shared the prize from the Mecca Bingo club in Holmeside. They called the full house in 41 numbers and shared the Jackpot taking £50,000 each.
