New Yeah Came Happy for a 74-year old

A 74-year old pensioner received a generous present on the New Years eve, scooping a National Bingo jackpot of £20,000 on the night when 2007 ended and 2008 began.
A lady from Morecambe, who preferred to stay anonymous, did not start making calls to her family letting them know of the great news straight away, as she wanted to surprise her relatives with a cheque in her hands after she received it.
She got lucky playing the game, called “Afternoon Delight” at the Gala Bingo Club in Marine Road in Morecambe.
The lucky lady, a mother of two, a grandmother of three and a great-grandmother of one got a full house in 42 numbers. She has been into the bingo game since 1991 and admits to attending Gala Bingo hall religiously six times a week.
"Even though everybody in the club was clapping I really didn't think I could have won so much. I just can't get over it at the moment so I can't decide definitely what to do with the money, but it's a very nice New Year present. I may re-decorate my living room and have new carpets," the woman said in excitement.
