Mecca Marathon!!

The biggest marathon event of the year, The Flora London Marathon, is going to be run by Mecca Bingo’s general bingo manager David Barker.
The 26 mile long race helps to raise huge sums of money every year for charities through sponsorship deals and runners getting personal sponsors. David, who has currently borrowed a treadmill from his local gym to ensure his fitness is at its peak, is also planning an online bingo charity event at Mecca Bingo.
All this hard work is being done in order to raise money for the “Whizz Kid” charity, which is designed to give disabled children a more independent life, providing equipment and training for those in need.
Alongside David Barker colleagues Kevin Clegg, Christian Jackson, Craig Millar, Angus Nisbet, Emma Pierzchalski and Louise Sharp are also running.
Louise Sharp has set up the Mecca Marathon online web page where you can sponsor any of the team members who are aiming for a collective target of £10,500.
