Lunch party for 100-year-old bingo player

A 100 year-old bingo player celebrated her big birthday in style with a special lunch party. Nellie Horseman from Scarborough, who still lives in her own flat, was the guest of honour at the Eastfield Community Centre. She has been playing bingo there since it opened around 1960.

Nellie, said: “It’s nice that everyone has put this party on for me. I come to the club every Thursday and I look forward to it. We have a few games and I really enjoy it.”
