Gala Bingo TV Rivalled By New Venture

With the poor economic climate during 2009 Gala Bingo has been diversifying its product offering to include the Gala TV channel which has certainly become a huge hit offering the latest in celebrity, gossip and of course bingo!

However, they now have to face some competition. This is because online game show company Amuso is collaborating with ‘Sweden’, NYX interactive AB and Cashball Ltd. The Director of Sales and Marketing at NYX Interactive Steve Cook stated, “The tie up between the three companies is very significant because, in partnership Amuso and NYX can deliver a strong portfolio of games and gaming products while Cashball Ltd will provide the operations and support.”

The group intends to create a ‘trivia gaming network’ which features online bingo, casino and major TV quiz show formats, similar to Gala Bingo TV.

Carl Stahle, Head Of International Operations at Cashball Ltd, said: “The combination of trivia, bingo and casino fits our target group perfectly and the variation of the entertainment will encourage people to spend more time playing.”

Amuso already has a noteworthy share of UK gaming market – so they are no stranger to the bingoworld! Co-founder and CEO of Amuso, Barak Rabinowitz said: “We are thrilled to partner with NYX and Cashball Ltd to bring a fresh and compelling offering to the market. The NYX platform will enable us to lead the market for trivia gaming in the UK and beyond.”

Without any doubt this niche currently coveted by Gala has great potential, with several deals already being signed with some major TV companies.
