Gala Bingo Player Wins £45,000 by acquiring UK bingo jackpot

Heaton Norris, 50, is going to have a very merry Christmas after she scooped a bingo jackpot of £45,000 at the Gala Bingo club in Stockport.
The manager of the Stockport Gala Bingo club had this to say: "She was over the moon when we told her how much she had won. She said what a lovely surprise and it was going to be a most wonderful Christmas for her and her family."
The total jackpot on the night was £90,000, which Heaton shared equally with a Bradford player, who hit the full house in 40 balls.
National Bingo reported that the club in Stockport has been very successful in terms of giving out jackpots, as three wins have been reported in the same hall just in one year (2006). In total that year has brought £170,000 to Gala Bingo members.
