First £1 Million Bingo Club Winner

Yesterday, a Glagow mother-of-two became the first bingo club millionaire. Margaret Sheaver, 46, only agreed to play a lunchtime bingo session with her mother because of her unfortunate layoff from her job at a biscuit factory only three weeks earlier.
Shearer's win comes just a few weeks after the gambling laws were lightened allowing larger prizes in the bingo halls and clubs.
The lucky winner from the Glasgow Forge branch of Mecca revealed that, " It's not sunk in yet... I just haven't a clue what I'm going to do with the money. Its such a enormous amount that it's difficult to grasp what it really means."
