Crown Bingo raises over £400 for Charity
18th February, 2008
Following the completion of Crown Bingo's second room, they held a charity night, on February 14th (Valentine's Day) with fifty per cent of their prize pools going to the Variety Club, their charity of the month.
The Variety Club is a children’s charity which helps aid those who are sick, disabled or disadvantaged. The history and foundations of the charity date back to 1927 when it was founded by a group of eleven men who were all involved in the show business world.
The evening drew to a close having raised £413 for the charity.
Now the event has passed there are still opportunities to have fun and raise money for the charity simply by making a donation. or perhaps through their forthcoming a charity auction where people can bid for things such as an ice-skating lesson from none other than Jane Torvil and Christopher Dean as well as a tour of the studios at GMTV.
Due to the overwhelming success of the evening’s activities Crown Bingo now need votes to be cast for who will be their next charity of the month. Once the votes have been cast another round of Charity Bingo will be held and expectations will be just as high for donations, a pleasant thought for the possible winners of the Crown Bingo Charity of the Month.
Meanwhile, at Crown Bingo, things go on as usual, offering exciting bingo bonuses and jackpots worth thousands of pounds.
