Clubs disappear in puff of smoke
8th November, 2007
Both smokers and non smokers have joined forces to complain about the smoking ban in England and Wales.
In a combined 'beating' 2 clubs in Derbyshire have closed down. This was due to both the smoking ban and and also high tax rates.
30 jobs have been lost and scores of peope have lost a fun night out with their friends die to the inability fo the clubs to afford to stay open.
The clubs affected are The Bingorama at the Rotz Hall and the Regal at Staveley.
These closures have sparked fear in the hearts of other bingo halls, especially small independent ones which dont have an online business to fall back on like Gala Bingo and Mecca Bingo.
