Birthday Surprise for a Liverpool Girl

Lucy Connel won £30,000 in Gala Bingo hall in Liverpool last night whilst celebrating her 18th birthday, the first day she could legally gamble.
Her parents brought her there, as she was always curious when they used to disappear to Gala Bingo for hours in the evenings.
"This is the best Birthday present I could ever wish for," said the girl all excited with a trembling voice.
When asked about the intention of spending the prize money, Lucy responsibly replied that after her Birthday she will put aside most of the money to pay for her university life, so she doesn't have to work part time any more.
"Most of it I will leave for uni and other stuff I might wanna do later on in life. The rest will go towards my summer holiday and maybe some dancing classes. I always wanted to do that and could never afford."
The young lady comes from a lower class family, that has always struggled to make the ends meet.
The representative of Gala Bingo in Liverpool had this to say about the news: "I am very pleased Lucy won that money. Her family always had to struggle for money and they out of all people deserve it the most. Her mom comes to our establishment 5 times a week for the last 6 years. And the dad comes here around 2 times a week. One of them deserved to win big at least once.
