Bingo.com Reports Improved Profits
3rd June, 2008
Online bingo has spread the word about one of the best loved games in the gambling industry especially in the UK. One of the advantages of using bingo rooms instead of going to bingo halls is convenience. One can choose to stay at home and not drive out to bingo halls and casinos to be able to play this game. What’s more exciting is that players get to meet thousands of other bingo players who reside in the other side of the world. This is one of the reasons why bingo players can chat with other co-players while in the middle of a game. And Bingo.com, a major bingo room over the Internet shares the same vibrant activity based on their first quarterly review for 2008.
CEO Williams Reports Growth
This positive growth in UK bingo players’ interests in the game mirrors the unaudited revenue results. Bingo.com’s CEO Tarnie Williams gladly shares that the company has posted strong showing in terms of growth. The revenue is up, their costs are lower and more importantly, they have become a major operator of bingo rooms in the UK. Their claim to popularity is further backed by a reported 1.8 million user which has adversely affected their profits in some ways. Although popularity wise, there’s no denying that these numbers solidifies that aspect of their growth especially in the UK market. However, this also means that the idea of conquering the international market is not so far-fetched at this time.
Fate of Bingo Rooms
This news reflects what has been the situation for most other bingo rooms that have successfully launched and retained their status in the online gaming industry. With more and more players getting empowered with the advances in Information Technology, there is robust business waiting to be explored by big companies such as Bingo.com. One has to take care though that they balance the benefits they offer to new and old players to be able to maintain liquidity in the market. But given the reputation and credibility that Bingo.com has earned through their years of operation, it will not come as a surprise at all if the international market of players responds positively to them. The competition may be stiff considering the number of bingo rooms out there with their own set of bonuses and promotions. But without a reputation as good as Bingo.com’s very few would survive the year.
