Bingo allowance for ASBO offender

Michael Dicker, 23, managed to get Carlisle magistrates to issue him a special leave to go to Gala Bingo club, after getting an ASBO and a ban from every club and pub. Dicker injured a woman police officer when resisting an arrest to get banned from all places with alcohol license, but the court surprisingly decided that a man can still have some bingo fun, which is why the ASBO got his grant to attend the club.

Dicker admitted to injuring a woman, because of trying to resist a police arrest. He also did not deny getting drunk on two occasions. On the second occasion he was held down by seven officers in the central Walkabout bar. Due to the incident that Dicker created, the officer received a head injury and bruises on his knee in the fight.

Columbian police requested a special asbo for Dicker, the one that would ban him from drinking alcohol, being drunk or attending the venues in the city centre that have liquor license.

Dicker agreed to everything but pleaded only to leave him able to attend the bingo club for his favorite game. He said he realizes his mistakes and knows that he has a problem with alcohol, but that he would be crashed if he was prohibited from going to his favorite Gala Bingo club or some other bingo clubs in the area to play bingo . He persuaded the court that he doesn’t consume any alcohol when in the bingo club.

Dicker was granted an order for two years, but magistrate decided to accept the compromise and let him go to bingo clubs exclusively.

The man also needs to fulfill the community order for one year, be supervised for six months and pay up £100 compensation to the police officer.

Police reassured sources that Dicker will be watched in bingo halls to take measures if he doesn’t fulfill his promise and drinks.
