Bingo Volunteer Stealing Charity Money

Sverna L. Bradley, 54, a former volunteer and bingo coordinator for Suffolk Independent Living Organisation (SILO), is accused of stealing around $12,700 from the organisation’s bingo game revenue. The woman who lives on 65 Gary Avenue, Medford, used to work the bingo games in Coram.
SILO is a non-profit educational organisation, i.e. everything is done purely for charity. The organisation is funded by the NYS Education Department to advocate, help and assist disabled Suffolk residents.
On Tuesday in the first district court Bradley was cleared of one charge of third degree grand larceny.
