Bingo Support For The British Red Cross

5th March, 2008

The British Red Cross, part of the Red Cross and the Red Crescent Movement, is one of the world’s largest independent humanitarian organisations. Their aim is to support the vulnerable and desperate, in the UK and abroad, and to prepare them and help them through emergencies in their own communities. Then, following a crisis, they aim to aid them in recovery and moving on in their lives.

In 2006 an earthquake struck Indonesia. Party Gaming gave $100,000 cash to The British Red Cross to aid those affected.

Throughout the month of March, Party Bingo are supporting again, pledging donations based upon the amount of ‘party points’ collected, on their online bingo website, by participating bingo players during the period.

At the end of the month Party Bingo will calculate the amount of ‘party points’ were collected by participating players and which tier they have reached. Donations will then be sent to The British Red Cross according to the amounts. Player’s personal points will be unaffected and they can redeem them as, when and how they wish. The biggest donation made by a player will be paid separately to The British Red Cross and that player will receive a special certificate from them.

Donations can also be made online directly from The British Red Cross Site
