Bingo Night Raises Money for Charity

Gerald Massey and David Hamilton, joint organisers of a local charity bingo night in Driffield, have helped in raising money for two organisations. Due to the success of their Charity Bingo night they are now looking at repeating the event in 2009. The St Catherine's Support Group also added to the cash raised through a raffle and donated prizes. This took the total cash raised to £600.
£300 went to The St Catherine's Hospice Driffield Support Group and the other £300 went to The First Steps Pre School.
Bingo charity nights are not limited to land based bingo. Both Think Bingo and Bingo Scotland both help raise money for charities every weekthrough online charity bingo. Think Bingo support the Rainbow Trust Children's Charity and Bingo Scotland currently support Breast Cancer Care. Both run their charity bingo every Tuesday night between 6pm and 8pm, by 1p out of every £1.
