Bingo has once again helped charity. A fundraising charity event was held, in the form of a two-course lunch at the Mount Hotel in Cliff Bridge Terrace accompanied by games of bingo, in order to raise awareness for the St Catherine's Hospice.

Close to 50 people attended the event during which members moved tables between courses filling out bingo cards using numbers stuck to each person as part of a networking strategy.

Lee Barker, the Chief Executive of the St Catherine's Hospice commented:

"Everybody seems to have been busy networking. This is the first time we have done a bingo session. We try to vary how we do the networking at each lunch. It is a very worthwhile event, not just for different businesses to meet each other and get feedback but also for the hospice to raise awareness of our work among the business community."

St Catherine's is a hospice for adults caring for people suffering from life limiting or life threatening conditions.
