Another Bingo Loss!

Mecca Bingo have announced the closure of yet another hall. Players at the club in Swindon have been given only a week's notice if the intended closure.

Leaving Bingo players both sad and confused, this latest closure is suspected to have been caused by a regeneration programme planned for the Swindon town centre although Phil Young the cabinet member for economic regeneration and development has said "We would be quite happy for the bingo hall to continue on the site, and this decision has come entirely from Mecca Bingo. We have given them no direction to leave".

The venue in question has been a prominent feature of the town centre since 1929, where it started off life as a cinema. A spokesperson for Mecca has confirmed that the hall has been sold to the Council and are urging players to move onto their online bingo site.
