A new direction for PartyBingo
19th May, 2008
PartyGaming CEO Mitch Garber will be leaving the company later this year, but his shoes will not go unfilled. As bingo is an important part of of PartyGaming, many in the industry are concerned about their future presence.
Jim Ryan, an executive in the online-gaming industry, will be the new CEO. With 22 years of experience in online gaming and technology, Ryan has had a distinguished career, holding positions with St. Minver, Excapsa and Cryptologic.
Cryptologic is an online bingo games software developer and provider, which means that Ryan has the background necessary to enhance the bingo experience at Party Bingo.
PartyGaming will not change too much under its new leadership. They plan to continue their presence in online bingo with their new CEO.
“Jim’s experience...will be a powerful combination in driving the company forward and continuing to enhance the value and appeal of PartyGaming’s brands and gaming products,” said Michael Jackson, PartyGaming non-executive chairman.
As for the future of PartyGaming the soon-to-be CEO sounds optimistic. “I am hugely excited by the scale of the opportunity and with the support of PartyGaming’s board and management team, I am confident we have an exciting and prosperous future.
PatyGaming offers a group of key gaming sites that include Party Poker, Party Bets and Party Bingo. Therefore, this new leadership will affect more than just the bingo card. Time will tell if this is the right move for PartyGaming, but at the moment the future seems bright.
