A 90-year old causes chaos

Lois Weber, a 90-year old lady, has caused a chaotic accident and disrupted a bingo game yesterday; all because of one little tennis shoe. She managed to back up into McDonald’s, disrupt a bingo game and injure a couple, so they had to go to the hospital after.
According to Weber herself, all this has happened due to an unfortunate incident with a tennis shoe; it got stuck under the gas pedal in her 2004 Cadillac, that’s why she lost control and backed into Macdonald’s.
According to the lady, she just recently changed the brands of the shoes she was wearing and the new ones were too big for her feet, as they were wider fit.
Tickets were not issued and Weber drove her car back home safely.
Police reported that the car crashed into the wall and the window of the restaurant in the Broad Ripple neighbourhood in the north of the city.
The couple that were playing bingo suffered minor injuries, as the car pushed them both when backing. John Atkinson, 80, with his wife Beverley, 75, were at the time enjoying the game of bingo. They both had cuts on their hands from broken glass.
