72-year-old Scoops ups the Jackpot

Sunday December 2nd was a lucky day for the 72-year-old Scunthonian woman who has been a weekly regular at her local Gala Bingo hall for eleven years. With her husband by her side, the lucky lady brought home the UK bingo jackpot of £17,500—just in time for the holiday season!
The mother of four and grandmother of four has yet to decide what to do with the money, but it’s sure to be a happy Christmas this year for her entire family.
The UK bingo jackpot has been claimed two other times this past year at the same branch of Gala Bingo. In February and May of this past year, club members scooped up the £100,000 national jackpot, proving the Scunthorpe branch to be quite a lucky one this year.
