£60,000 for 60’s Birthday

A lucky bingo player, Ann Davis won £60,000 in the National Bingo Game on SUNDAY.
She was in her local Gala Bingo club at the Galleries Leisure Park with her husband Joe Davis. They visit the club often with their friends, Nancy and Peter Stevenson.
This time friends weren’t with them as Peter Stevenson was actually celebrating his 60’s birthday with a barbeque at home. Nevertheless, Ann Davis decided to stick with their mutual agreement as a group to share any winnings they acquire at bingo.
Ann Davis seems to be very lucky in bingo as only a year ago she became a big winner of £10,000 bingo jackpot at the Gala Bingo club. That time the couple also shared the winning with their friends.
Davis has a very big family to make happy with small presents from the win. They have five children, 12 grandchildren and even one little grandchild.
Here is what Ann said to the National Bingo Representative after her big win: “We always said we would share whatever any of us won, and this time is no different. I won £10,000 last year at the Gala Bingo and shared that with them. It was Peter’s 60th birthday on Saturday and they were having a family barbecue so didn’t come to bingo. Later that evening we gate crashed the barbecue and told them the good news! Needless to say they were really excited and as happy as we were. I come from a big family, I was the oldest of 13. It will be nice to have some money in the bank to help boost our pension.”
