£100,000 Jackpot for Halifax lady

Lucy Jones, 37, a mother of two from Halifax has walked away £100,000 richer from her local Mecca Bingo hall on Monday night.
That’s what the excited woman said straight after she received the news: "I am shocked but feel fantastic. Right now maybe I'll just spend, spend, spend. It is just brilliant news and an amazing start to the year. My husband doesn't believe me right now and I think I'll need to show him the cheque before he does."
Mrs. Jones has been a loyal member to the Mecca Bingo in Halifax for over five years now, but has never won a big amount of money before, only some small insignificant winnings.
She admitted to wanting to spend some of that money on a holiday in Cuba.
Operations manager for Mecca Bingo in Halifax, Jon Dale, said this: "The atmosphere in the club was electric. People were stomping and cheering."
